1962 Fender Jazzmaster in Fiesta Red

In overall good condition. From the family of the original owner. Being sold as is, as described. All electronics function well. The guitar will need some work particularly on the frets to put this in good playing condition. Includes original case, leather strap and hang tag. Please see the following for details on this guitar.
The maple neck and tuning machines are original. The neck is dated 1-62

The frets show considerable wear and will need to be refretted
Original body with original routes.
The wiring harness is a newer wiring harness with orange drop caps. The original wiring harness is included but has not been tested. We can only assume that there was an issue with the original harness necessitating its replacement
Pickups and pickup covers are original.
Wear to the top sides and back as can be seen in the pictures. We believe this is normal wear and the guitar has not been relic’d
Original knobs, pickguard and trem bar. The pickguard screws are most likely not original and are newer replacements but are the correct size and thread. We would expect to see more patina on the original screws.
The knob on the pickup selector toggle switch is missing. The selector switch functions well.
